Every Congolese life matters. We call on companies, sports organisations and governments to stop lending their name and influence to the Rwandan government, while it is killing innocent civilians in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, raping and abusing women and children and driving millions from their homes — gross violations of human rights and international law.

Formula 1 in Kigali? Not while Congo bleeds

Formula 1 has signed a 10-year deal for an African Grand Prix in Rwanda, "presented by Visit Rwanda", from as early as 2030. We call on Formula 1, the FIA, teams and sponsors to cancel it while Rwanda backs violence in eastern Congo.

Our mission

The human cost in eastern Congo is staggering:

Killed: thousands of people have been killed since 2024 as Rwanda-backed M23 advanced — more than 7,000 in January and February 2025 alone, according to the DRC government, including around 3,000 in Goma (United Nations). Since the mid-1990s, conflict in eastern Congo has cost an estimated 6 million lives.
Raped: UNICEF reported that in early 2025 a child was raped roughly every half hour in eastern DRC. Médecins Sans Frontières treated more than 25,000 survivors of sexual violence in North Kivu in 2023.
Displaced: close to 7 million people have been forced from their homes in the DRC, most of them in the east (IOM, UNHCR).
Troops: close to 7,000 Rwanda Defence Force soldiers are operating in eastern DRC, causing chaos alongside the M23 armed group (UN Group of Experts).

Some countries, such as France and Belgium, remain under suspicion over their continued support for the Rwandan government.

Behind every number is a Congolese life. We use peaceful, lawful public pressure to ask institutions to stop lending their influence to those responsible.

Our campaign targets government policies and institutional relationships — not ordinary Rwandan people.
